The GHN College Library is a vital academic resource center of the institution and plays a significant role in supporting teaching, learning, and research activities. The library serves as a knowledge hub for students and faculty members, providing access to a wide range of academic resources.

The library is located on the first floor of the college building and occupies an area of approximately 1500 sq. ft, including a well-organized stack section and a spacious reading room. At present, the library houses a rich collection of more than 13,000 books covering subjects such as commerce, arts, management, and general knowledge. In addition, the library subscribes to several periodicals, journals, and magazines, enabling students and faculty members to stay updated with the latest developments in their respective fields.

Recently, the library has been strengthened with the appointment of Dr. Rajashekhar M. Patil as Librarian, who brings with him over 18 years of rich professional experience in Academic, Engineering, and Special Libraries. With his extensive knowledge across various disciplines and expertise in modern library management, the library is progressing towards significant modernization and service enhancement.

Under his guidance, the library is gradually transitioning towards full automation using the Koha Library Management Software, enabling efficient management of library resources and improved access to information. The library is also expanding its digital services to provide online access to library resources through mobile devices and the college website, allowing students to conveniently access learning materials anytime and anywhere.

The GHN College Library actively promotes student success by fostering critical thinking, independent learning, and research skills. Special emphasis is also being placed on career development resources, and the library is planning to establish a Competitive Examination Preparation Centre within the campus to support students preparing for various government and professional examinations.

With the adoption of modern technologies and innovative services, the GHN College Library is moving towards becoming a modern knowledge and learning center, dedicated to enhancing the academic growth and career opportunities of its students.

A separate and spacious reading room facility is available with seating arrangements for:

• 105 students
• 15 faculty members

The reading room provides a peaceful and academic environment conducive to study, reference work, and intellectual development.
